One Blue Thought

This small painting is a perfect example of how abstracts can evoke a simulated view of the elements. The terra cotta clay colors along with  the branch like roots moving across the surface anchors the three metallic gold squares which represent the four corners of the globe. At the last minute, I added the stroke of blue which came out like water spilling.
