This mystical painting is the depiction of a magic visual allegory.
The union of astrological light, the Chinese dragon and the meditation monk is compelling. The red rose symbolizes heart felt offering of love based on higher principles.
Together they read from an ancient book of Wisdom while sitting on a lotus of natural fragrance and earthly beauty. I had no intention of a storyline but this was an amazing visual to create while listening to the music. In my search for dragon images, I automatically felt this pose and image of the two species together gave a strong feeling of heavenly and earthly sentient beings in harmony and stillness.
